sBUIDL asset
Overview
Securitize launched sBUIDL in May 2025, an ERC-20 token minted via its sToken Vault. Each token is backed 1:1 by a locked share of BlackRock’s tokenized US Treasury fund, BUIDL. The wrapper allows BUIDL holders to deploy their position in decentralized finance without exiting the underlying portfolio, which consists of short-term Treasuries and repo agreements. sBUIDL debuted on the Avalanche network integrated with the Euler lending protocol, where it can be used as collateral to borrow stablecoins.
Within The Counterparty graph, sBUIDL connects to 7 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Avalanche, Securitize.
