Botanix chain
Overview
A Layer 2 protocol called Botanix brings smart contract capabilities to Bitcoin through a spider chain design. Its EVM compatibility allows Ethereum applications to operate on Bitcoin’s security framework. The project seeks to merge Bitcoin’s security model with Ethereum’s programmability while leaving Bitcoin’s core layer unchanged.
