Overview
EigenDA, a data availability protocol constructed on top of EigenLayer, utilises restaked Ether to offer high-throughput data availability for rollups. This allows rollups to submit transaction data effectively without depending on Ethereum’s complete consensus mechanism. The system employs a committee of operators who confirm data availability through erasure coding and dispersal.
