Overview

Strategy, the company previously known as MicroStrategy and led by executive chairman Michael Saylor, unveiled the "21/21 Plan," a capital-raising initiative designed to generate $21 billion from equity and $21 billion from fixed-income securities over a three-year period. The funds were intended for bitcoin acquisitions. The equity component was primarily sourced via at-the-market (ATM) offerings of common stock, supplemented by programs for preferred stock and convertible notes. The initiative was subsequently replaced by an expanded "42/42" plan, which targets $84 billion in combined equity and debt issuance through 2027.
