Erc 4337 license
Overview
An Ethereum standard enabling account abstraction without altering the core consensus layer, ERC-4337 reached finalisation and mainnet deployment in March 2023. The standard defines a distinct mempool for pseudo-transaction entities termed UserOperations; these are aggregated by bundlers and delivered to a single EntryPoint contract, which authenticates and processes them via user-owned smart contract accounts. Paymaster contracts, an optional component, facilitate gas sponsorship or settlement in ERC-20 tokens rather than ETH. Implementations of the EntryPoint contract are live on Ethereum, along with major Layer 2 and EVM-compatible networks.
