Lido Easy Track Committees multisig
Overview
Lido DAO's Easy Track, established via LIP-3, functions as an optimistic governance system for standard, non-controversial tasks. Under this framework, a motion becomes effective without a formal on-chain ballot unless LDO token holders raise objections; specifically, it is enacted if no opposition representing 0.5% or more of the total LDO supply emerges within 72 hours of its initiation. Only designated addresses, often committee multisigs, are permitted to submit motions, and each motion category is restricted to a particular purpose, for example modifying node operator settings, altering staking caps, or distributing grants from an approved budget. This approach lowers voter fatigue and on-chain transaction fees while providing sub-committees and node operators with increased operational independence.
