Overview
Aerodrome Finance’s governance token on the Base network, veAERO, is obtained by locking the protocol’s AERO token. Holders of veAERO are entitled to vote on governance proposals, receive a portion of fees, and participate in bribe distributions. The token’s design follows the veCRV model introduced by Curve.
