Overview
Ledger, the French firm, introduced the Ledger Flex hardware signer in July 2024. The device occupies a mid-range slot in the company's lineup, sitting below the Ledger Stax. It incorporates a 2.8-inch E Ink touchscreen, supports Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity, and runs Ledger OS. Private keys are held within a CC EAL6+ certified Secure Element. Security features include PIN-based access and a 24-word recovery phrase; an optional backup service, Ledger Recovery Key, is also available. The product targets consumer self-custody users.
