BitFi Basis protocol
Overview
BitFi Basis functions as the synthetic-dollar arm of BitFi, a CeDeFi asset management platform centered on Bitcoin yield. The product generates bfUSD, a synthetic stablecoin created from deposits of USDT and USDC. Those deposits are allocated to yield-generating strategies, with user assets kept under BitFi's custody framework. Revenue for BitFi Basis comes from fees on instant redemptions and cross-chain transfers of bfUSD, as well as yield earned by the underlying vault positions. It operates alongside BitFi's bfBTC yield token and the BFI governance token.
