Centrifuge Protocol protocol
Overview
The Centrifuge Protocol provides a decentralized finance framework that converts real-world assets—including invoices, real estate, and royalties—into digital tokens. Built as a parachain on the Polkadot network, it is known as Centrifuge Chain and relies on its native token, CFG, for governance, staking, and transaction costs. Through this system, asset originators can obtain liquidity by minting tokenized assets as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which then serve as collateral to secure loans.
Within The Counterparty graph, Centrifuge Protocol connects to 12 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base.
