Curve Finance protocol
Overview
A knowledge hub published by Curve Finance breaks the project into three components: the Curve DEX for swaps and liquidity provision; Llamalend, a lending and borrowing market; and the CRV token, which controls governance. The governance system relies on a vote-escrow model: locking CRV produces veCRV, a token that confers voting power over protocol parameters and incentive distribution. Curve pioneered this mechanism, which has since been adopted by numerous other DeFi projects. The documentation is split into three separate tracks, aimed at users who trade and supply liquidity, developers who build against the project's APIs, and protocols that integrate with the broader ecosystem.
