Mantle Restaking protocol
Overview
The Mantle ecosystem has introduced a liquid restaking product called Mantle Restaking, also known as the mETH Protocol. The system generates two distinct tokens: mETH, which functions as a liquid staking token backed by staked ETH, and cmETH, a liquid restaking token that represents ETH that has been restaked, mainly through EigenLayer. To participate, a user deposits ETH and receives mETH; that mETH can then be restaked to obtain cmETH, unlocking supplementary restaking yields.
