Mev-Commit protocol
Overview
Primev has launched mev-commit, a protocol enabling Ethereum block builders and validators to issue binding, economically guaranteed pledges regarding transaction inclusion. These pledges, known as preconfirmations, provide near-instant assurances—with latency measured in tens of milliseconds—that a transaction will be included in a forthcoming block, well before the block is formally proposed. Providers who fail to honor their commitments face slashing. The system operates its own commitment chain parallel to Ethereum mainnet, employs an encrypted mempool to mitigate frontrunning, and is integrated with restaking infrastructure, including Symbiotic, to underwrite the economic security of the commitments.
