Overview
Berachain, a Layer 1 blockchain constructed on the Cosmos SDK, employs a Proof-of-Liquidity consensus mechanism designed to align validator incentives with on-chain liquidity. Its token architecture comprises three assets: BERA, used for transaction fees; HONEY, a native stablecoin; and BGT, which facilitates governance. The network achieves EVM compatibility through the Polaris framework, allowing Ethereum-based decentralised applications to be deployed with few modifications.
